This program is designed to introduce your child to the exciting world of Salsa, one of the world’s most popular dances, widely known for its technicality and variety of rhythms.

Class Schedule:

Beginners Peques: Monday & Wednesdays from 5pm to 6pm

Intermediate/Advanced Peques: Thursdays from 6pm to 7:30 pm

Tuition:

Classes are $60 per month, which includes two (2) 1-1/2 hour classes per week, 5 times per month. Basic Salsa lessons – no performance team involvement, are also available for a small additional cost.

Program Curriculum:

In this class, your child will learn the following:

• Salsa Technique – to apply on the dance floor

• Song Lyrics – to learn the mood of each song and expand their Spanish vocabulary

• Concepts of Ballet – to build a strong dance “core”

• Facial Expression – to project the proper attitude on the dance floor

• Self-esteem – which will carry over to their personal lives and enhance their overall ability to learn

• Rhythm – how to incorporate various salsa rhythms into their salsa dancing
